STATE OF THE UNION
Dimms Sit On Hands As Trump Shows GOP How To Fight
‘Last night (#SOTU) was one of the most clarifiying nights in American history’ summed up by ‘Trump’s speech and Joe Kennedy’s despicable message’ – Dennis Prager #JoeKennedy #democrats #trump #MAGA
Build A Wall And My Generation Will Tear It Down:’ shouted Joe Kennedy … ‘ Justice Dept. rolling back racism by the day…’
said Kennedy in Democratic response to State of the Union address 1-13-18. The Democrats are not the same party that Kennedy’s uncle, President Kennedy, led during the 1960s. President Kennedy probably would be a Republican today, we believe..
from Hugh Hewitt, self-proclaimed ‘optimist’
‘The country has broken in two. The left were not going to admit to anything (positive for Trump.) I don’t know how we’re going to get out of this. The media is out of it’s collective mind.’
‘Existential battle for what America means.’
‘The Left Is Presenting An Existential Threat To America…Fake world of the left. An intellectual fraud. The Left (not liberals) loathe America- The Guggenheim Toilet’ says it all– Dennis Prager.
‘They’ve ruined our universities. They’ve taught Generations there is no evil, just relativism.
Donald Trump ‘Lincolnesqe’ in truth-telling as compared to the media – D. Prager. Prager questions how even his own ‘moral, intellectual friends’ continue to bash Trump and drink the Dem koolaid.
DONALD TRUMP IS TEACHING REPUBLICANS HOW TO FIGHT
Michael Goodwin, NEW YORK POST 1-31-18
It’s an observation so strikingly true that you wonder why you didn’t think of it earlier. “Donald Trump,” a friend said the other day, “is teaching the Republican Party how to fight and how to win.”
The evidence is everywhere every day, and it was on vivid display Tuesday night. The president remains in a fighting mood, determined to keep punching his way forward.
The Trump way starts with the passage of the historic tax cuts despite tiny Republican majorities in Congress and scare tactics from the left. Before passage, polls showed the public was strongly opposed — but Trump pulled, pushed and bullied his party over the finish line.
They scowled as President Trump touted soaring jobs numbers, sat stone-faced when he honored veterans, and one even walked out after becoming triggered by a patriotic chant.
Democrats at President Trump’s first State of the Union, after a year of partisan rancor, showed they were in no mood to accept his call for bipartisanship.
“Tonight, I call on all of us to set aside our differences, to seek out common ground, and to summon the unity we need to deliver for the people,” Trump said. “This is really the key. These are the people we are elected to serve.”
On Tuesday, the Democrats proved just where they stood on the important issues. Or rather, where they didn’t stand.
They didn’t stand for jobs or restoring America’s economy.
They didn’t stand for being tougher on terrorists or treating those caught overseas as enemy combatants. They didn’t stand for the Islamic State group being decimated by our forces.
